Meet the Sparked Clinical Co-Leads: Dr Chris Moy
Meet Dr Chris Moy – GP, Australian Digital Health Agency Digital Health Advisor, and Sparked Clinical Design Group Co-Lead.
Chris joins Sparked as a general practitioner, offering unique insight and expertise on clinical applications and patient care. As a Clinical Design Group co-lead, Chris helps facilitate the development, validation and implementation of critical healthcare standards within Australia, as part of the Clinical Design Group. Chris’ extensive knowledge and expertise in this space is greatly valued in his contributions to Sparked, and we are so lucky to have him in our community!

Creating the multiple adaptor to allow all health software to plug into each other and exchange information
🤔 What is something that you hope to achieve within the Sparked program?
Develop a truly community based way of working together to get to the Holy Grail of interoperability
🤔 How is the Sparked program different to projects you’ve been involved in before?
inclusiveness and welcoming in spirit – and the dog waging the tail instead of the tail wagging the dog in that the clinicians and industry decide instead of faceless policy experts.
🤔 What’s been your favourite part of working within the Sparked team?
There is a sense of “we can do it this time”
🤔 What would you tell someone wanting to learn more about the Sparked project?
You are not only welcome but we want you to be a part of it.
🤔 How will the goals and outcomes of the Sparked Program impact your field/industry/profession?
They will notice that getting the critical information they need to care for their patient will be easier and faster- so they can spend more time with their patient.
