Participant Obligations

As a participant, your responsibilities include:

  • Respectful participation in meetings,
  • Identification and discussion of issues relevant to your expertise,
  • Timely action on tasks and contribution to content review outside meetings,
  • Sharing insights and engaging in discussions with your peers, and
  • Communication of your availability and any absences to the program coordinators.

CSIRO is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Personal information collected throughout the program will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, used solely for the purposes of Sparked and related research. With stringent data protection measures in place, your involvement is safeguarded against any potential risks, allowing you to participate with peace of mind.

Program Risks

  • CSIRO do not anticipate any risk related to your participation in the program. 
  • All human research undertaken by the CSIRO must comply with the values, principles, governance and review process specified in the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007). A copy of the National Statement can be found at on the NHMRC website.

Updating your contact preferences

If you have already registered with Sparked, and would like to update how we contact you, please contact the team by emailing FHIR@csiro.au.

Withdrawing from the Program

If at any time you decide to withdraw from Sparked, please contact the program via email at FHIR@csiro.au. Your decision to withdraw will be respected, and your personal information will continue to be handled with care, in line with our privacy commitments.
